I begin in the Name of Allah,
The Compassionate, The Merciful.
All Praise belongs to Allah, Creator of all that exists:
The Compassionate, The Merciful,
Who controls of Last Day, of Reckoning.
To You alone we humbly give thanks:
You alone we turn to for help;
Keep us on the Straight Path -
The Path of those You have guided:
Not that of those who have earned your wroth,
Nor that of those who have gone astray.
